Hazy Meadow
This event speaks to me because I have been pushing for a sober lifestyle in the dance scene since I started djing 17 years ago. I realized that it was more fun to remember everything that happened instead of building false happiness. Not to mention the health risks involved with drug use. I am always inspired by sober people and their actions. Having such a strong will to spread reality, a reality which is attainable daily and is very pleasant to repeat.
I chose to be high on life because I am in love with my sober self. I see people that need help and I am ready and willing to share my "how to" guide for living and dancing without drugs and alcohol.

RESCUE
Music is my passion, and sobriety is the key to keeping that passion
alive. They are the two most important things in my life, and I
relish any chance I have to celebrate them together. Bringing our sober community together through music is a very gratifying experience! It's nice to be able to introduce people that are new to sobriety into the music scene. And it's also great to have a safe environment for new and long-term sober folks to express themselves!

Nate Ishe
I have always been fascinated by the connection between music and varied states of consciousness, after starting to DJ in the Denver Rave Scene in the early Nineties. It was only in later years that I realized that the relationship between what I was hearing and how I was feeling had little or nothing to do with any substances I had taken. I want each of us to realize that we have everything we need inside us to seek that relationship with the infinite, and that community and music by themselves are much stronger influences to each of our spiritual paths than we may give them credit for. Eliminating intoxicants, if only for a single event, allows the participant to have a truly authentic experience. I am excited to be part of a group of individuals that are reaching beyond themselves, from within themselves, in an attempt to create a transcendental awakening.

Scienteist
So often electronic music is stereotypically paired with the use of illicit substances. I am proud to be a part of an event that promotes healthy, substance free living within our community. High on Life is sure to bring the best that people have to offer to fruition while disproving the notion that electronic music and recreational drugs use is mutually exclusive. Scienteist got his start working lighting and laser productions on several Denver area shows. High On Life is Scienteist's first DJ booking.
